brake booster replacement

so.. after cleaning up and setting all the brakes, i found that the brakes were still annoying even worse i had to shake it 3 - 4 times till it bites. after checking whether the booster is actually still working or not, i found out that it was totally kaputt.




the master cylinder seemed ok though



ok this is what i got.. a new booster (not original girling for landy) original toyota.. but i have heard some people say that this is even better since toyota parts are easier to get in indonesia.. so why not give it a try.. this is a toyota kijang doyok from '80s



some modifications had to be done to complete the job. welding the hook and drilling some new holes



now it's done.. tried the brakes.. and it worked wonderfully.. yaay!
